About us
Life University is an interdenominational Christian College, established in 2001, for the edification of the Body of Christ. We believe that the New Testament clearly states that all Christians have a place in the Body of Christ. God has something special for every member of every church to do. Our purpose is to equip both church members and ministers so that each one will be ready to function in the place, which the Lord has prepared for them. It is our policy that all programs offered by the college shall be equally available to all persons without regard to race, age, sex, or handicap.
We equip men and women to live successful victorious lives, to prepare individuals to be effective and involved members of their local churches, and to provide mature qualified leaders to meet the needs of local churches, para-church ministries and the community.
An important part of Christian education at Life University is practical application. We encourage students to become involved in their communities and to be actively in the ministry of a local church. Heritage International Bible College and Seminary is involved in a thrust for local evangelism, as well as overseas missions. Opportunities to participate both locally and overseas are available to the student.
General Information
Life University is not-for-profit evangelical religious organization, founded in 2001. Life University operates pursuant to the State of Florida Education Code for exempted organizations.
We are purely a theological school. We are not a member of any regional accrediting body. However, we are a member of the Accrediting Commission International for Schools, Colleges, and Theological Seminaries, noted in the Library of Congress (Txl-191-576).
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of Life University is to equip and train Christians so they will be effective members in the Kingdom of God. Briefly, stated, our objectives are to give students:
| A thorough and systematic instruction of the Word of God to provide a foundation for building life’s spiritual experiences.

| The ability to relate basic principles of the Bible to today’s living. To walk in the spirit-filled life and know God’s voice.

| The preparation to fulfill the Divine calling.
|
| The equipping needed fulfill Jesus’ command to “go ye therefore, and teach all nations . . .” (Matthew 28:19) and the training and experience to be a leader.
|
| The vision of God’s restoration of His church and spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth.
|
| To prepare students for life management and to benefit the community as whole, enabling the student to participate in the working world, as well.
|
The goal of Life University is to equip men and women for a lifetime of service to Jesus Christ. This is achieved by a careful blending of academic excellence with practical experience. A faculty of teachers educated in the Word of God who are committed to the Lord Jesus guides students.
We believe Life University offers the serious student of the Word the opportunity to make sound Christian education a reality.
